Billing options
ALL one time service visits / first time service visits are charged a minimum service call charge
payable at time of service
Our Service People do not have the option to waive this.
Charges for services provided are included in the minimum. Thereafter, if you choose a Monthly
Service Agreement, you will continue to receive scheduled
professional services at very affordable rates.
MDY bills you once a month by mail or arranges another payment option of your choosing. See
Monthly Service Agreements below.
About Point of Service payments. My Dog's Yard currently accepts checks by mail or delivered
directly to your service person. When paying by check please never make a check payable to
your service persons name. ALWAYS make checks payable to My Dog's Yard.
The Following is for Kingston area Only :
MONTHLY SERVICE AGREEMENTS are billed after the first service of the month, unless you
prefer more frequent or point of service payments. Currently we do not bill a full month in
advance as most other such services do, however payment is expected within 10 business
days/ 14 calendar days after you receive your bill.
You can pay all or some of your monthly bill directly to your service person when you see them.
This will be deducted from your monthly bill, or just send the return envelope with your payment
when your monthly bill arrives in the mail. Please pay with local paper check only.
The following is for Pocono area Only :
MONTHLY SERVICE AGREEMENTS are billed the same as above except one month in advance

Holidays and weather
My Dog's Yard observes 10-14 holidays throughout the year. If a holiday falls on your
scheduled service day, or weather is bad we will make every reasonable effort to
provide services on the day before or after. If we don't provide services on the day
before or after, we will adjust your monthly bill accordingly. We don't scoop in steady
or heavy rain, severe downpours or thunderstorms, snow and ice storms or extreme
cold, High winds or other extreme or inclement weather.
Winter services/skipped services
MDY provides waste cleaning services throughout the winter months. You may, of
course, suspend scheduled services until spring but there is a minimum service
charge on the initial spring clean up due to the accumulated waste.
Because of weather variations throughout the winter in our area, such as
freezing/thawing cycles, lack of permanent or continuous snow cover etc., and the
negative environmental impact of unchecked waste accumulation My Dog's Yard
highly recommends continuation of services throughout the winter months.
Skipped Services are expected.
With careful consideration for fair and reasonable cost to our customers,
unpredictability of our weather, environmental impact and increased volume and time
due to skipped services My Dog's Yard adheres to the following skipped services
policy ;
(these policies apply only while dogs are currently using the yard)
- If snow cover amounts of 3" or more occur within 3 days before a scheduled service
that service may be skipped.
-If a scheduled service is skipped for any reason an additional charge of 1/2 the
current regular charge will be assessed to the next service, minus any current
discounts. (Due to increased waste volume and time)
- ON YOUR BILL- Skipped services are generally CREDITED 1/2 the total cost
of each missed regularly scheduled service on the following months
invoice.
IN KINGSTON
Dog waste is always removed from the premises at no extra charge except for
excessive amounts, some business accounts, and some first time service calls. If you
choose for us to leave the waste in your trash receptacle we will reduce your weekly
bill by $1.00.
IN POCONOS
Dog waste is double bagged and placed in customers outside trash receptacle.
Bi-weekly services(every two weeks)
Because of hygiene, volume of waste, time, cost and other considerations My Dog's
Yard is offering this scheduling on a limited basis. Bi-weekly service is limited to one
dog per yard. Sorry, we cannot apply discounts to this schedule (except referral and
pay in advance discounts). Visits will be scheduled as available with consideration of
MDY's route schedules and customer convenience.

Monthly service agreement
Is not a contract. It's an agreement, a handshake on paper, or without the paper if you
prefer. You can reduce, increase, cancel, suspend or change your services in any way
with a phone call, email, or just asking your friendly service person. It is a means to
provide regularly scheduled services and convenient monthly billing.
